Tattoo Consultation (30-60mins
In-Person at Studio or Virtual Video Call
Service Description
A great tattoo starts with a great conversation. Our Complementary Tattoo Consultation is a zero-pressure, one-on-one session designed to align your visual concept with master-level technical execution before any ink touches your skin. Whether you meet with us at The Skin Museum or connect virtually from home, we'll map out a clear plan for your next custom piece. What We’ll Cover During Your Session: Concept & Design Direction: Bring your reference images, ideas, or rough sketches. We'll refine the scale, subject matter, style (black & grey realism, color, fine line, etc.), and artistic flow. Anatomy & Custom Placement: We evaluate body flow, muscle structure, and placement sizing to ensure your artwork sits naturally and ages gracefully. Skin Tone & Color Palette Customization: We tailor contrast mapping, line weights, and color selection specifically engineered to look vibrant and clean on all skin tones. Project Scope & Estimate: Get an accurate quote on time, session tier (micro, half-day, full-day), and total cost—no surprise fees. Cover-Ups & Scar Work (If Applicable): Evaluate existing ink or skin texture to determine feasibility, pigment choices, and laser/cover-up options. How to Prepare: Gather Inspiration: Collect 2–5 photo references or visual ideas that show the style, placement, or theme you love. Know Your Calendar: Have an idea of your general availability so we can secure your tattoo session dates on the spot if you're ready to book. Select Your Format: Choose In-Person to visit the studio and meet your artist face-to-face, or Video Call for maximum convenience. Booking Policy: Deposit Notice: While the consultation itself is 100% free, if you decide to proceed with scheduling your tattoo session, a non-refundable deposit will be collected at the end of your consult to hold your tattoo date and begin custom drawing prep.
